LA CIRENAICA

In this quiet village, home to the finest robiola cheese (Giacomo Bologna's legendary "six-day chefs" were born here), Osteria Cirenaica offers a fixed tasting menu with a pre-starter (raw sausage ball, robiola with sautéed zucchini and sweet mustard), an appetizer of asparagus flan with fondue and onion flan with sausage, first courses such as ravioli prepared three classic ways, gnocchi with sausage sauce, country-style tagliatelle with mushrooms and zucchini, second courses of roasted shank, chicken cacciatore, and braised meat, and desserts such as Piedmontese cassata and amaretto and zabaglione semifreddo. A tasting menu is also available for €27 (wine included).
