ANTICO MONASTERO

Ristorante Antico Monastero is situated in a magnificent historic building of 1400, an old medieval residence of the Marquises of Monferrato and also gentleman's club of the early 20th century. The restaurant is at the top of the village of Lu Monferrato. The cuisine is based on local ingredients and they are rigorously seasonal. Denari are the typical dish of the restaurant, without forgetting the agnolotti made by hand following the oldest recipes of Monferrato. Lacquered beef cheek is the restaurant's signature dish.
