SOMARKANDA

Cesare Ivaldi founded this association that promotes and protects donkeys in 1995. Eleven years later, he set up the social cooperative called Somarkanda. Today, at Sessant of Asti, he breeds forty or so donkeys, making soap and bath foam with female donkey milk but also with hazelnuts and wine.
