Orsi Azienda Agricola

The Orsi winery is located in Strevi and is managed by Roberto Orsi. Roberto's passion for winemaking stems from a family tradition begun by his great-grandfather Bartolomeo in Montaldo Bormida in 1800. Today, the company's vineyards extend primarily across the hills of Strevi and are dedicated to the typical local grape varieties of Moscato, Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese, and Albarossa. Other small plots are also dedicated to Merlot, Cabernet, Nebbiolo, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir. The company's goal is to offer quality products that are the fruit of great commitment and dedication, and above all, of work that, while remaining firmly rooted in tradition, embraces innovation and ongoing research. For this reason, over the years, efforts have been made to broaden the variety of grape varieties grown and, consequently, the range of products produced from them. This has been accompanied by ongoing training and development by Roberto, who, as the company's winemaker, has always believed it important to continually refine and improve his techniques, both in cultivation and in the actual production of the wine in the cellar. Among the wines produced are: Arsan Moscato d'Asti, Uordia Brachetto d'Acqui, Uardiora Barbera d'Asti, Bric della Guardia Barbera d'Asti aged in wood, Munfrò Arneis, Chèrdi Sauvignon Blanc, San Marten Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato, Senté Monferrato Nebbiolo, Chaos Alta Langa, Strevi Passito, and Lólu passito wine made from botrytized grapes.
