GELATERIA SOBAN
The Soban family has been working in the gelato world for almost half a century. Starting in Val di Zoldo (BL) and after gaining experience in Germany, they arrived in 1977 at the historic gelateria in Valenza. The gelato is made following the same recipe as before, with fresh milk, eggs, and vanilla beans from Tahiti and Madagascar. A natural gelato for all types of food intolerances, with flavors also suitable for celiacs. The fruit is only seasonal, with a special focus on local produce. New flavors include Dolce Piemonte, Bicerin, Brachetto, and a rotating selection of gourmet gelatos. Soban received the Golosario Award in 2011 for best gelato parlor and the special jury prize for its IGP hazelnut gelato in Cortemilia (Cn).
