The farm's heart is the "Castello di Grillano," which, along with the vineyards, farm buildings, and cellars, forms a sort of village that characterizes the hamlet of the same name. It is located in the municipality of Ovada on the ridge along the Ovada-Grillano-Guardia-Cremolino ridge in a hilly area at an altitude of approximately 200 meters above sea level. Castello di Grillano has been owned by the Torello Rovereto family for four generations. Historically, it has been dedicated to growing grapes (the main variety is Dolcetto, along with Barbera, Cortese, and Chardonnay) and to winemaking, respecting ancient traditions to create high-quality products. We offer two lines of wines: the traditional one, organic and without added sulfites, and the superior one, with wines aged in oak barrels.
