VILLA GIADA

The Villa Giada Winery boasts over two centuries of dedication to vineyard management. The historic core of the winery, where we now age in barrels, was built in 1790. In 1940, the first transformation took place, with the construction of a new section of the cellar to produce Moscato d'Asti, a winemaking process that required considerable technological effort. Traditional wines—Nebbiolo, Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera—are gaining popularity in Piedmont, all great reds suitable for aging. The most suitable areas for Barbera production are being defined, and the town of Agliano Terme, where our vineyards are located, is recognized as the finest terroir. This is where the great crus are born, making Barbera an important wine in the Italian wine scene. The winery is now equipped with the best winemaking technology available, and it is here that tradition and modern technology merge to produce wines that best convey the character of the terroir.
