The Massa Vineyards, located in the Tortona Hills, are the result of years of love and dedication to wine and the winemaking traditions of the Piedmont region. Walter Massa, a renowned local wine expert, rediscovers and revitalizes Timorasso, a native white grape variety. As the Massa Vineyards demonstrate, Piedmont is not only the land of great Piedmontese reds, but also of excellent white wines. The vineyards have been family-run since 1879, and today extend over 23 hectares in the hills of Monleale (Alessandria). The land is carefully cultivated, respecting the ancient traditions of the area and the Massa family, and with particular attention to preserving the terroir. Today, the winery offers not only Derthona, a typical white wine and the winery's flagship, but also high-quality red wines produced from Freisa, Barbera, and Croatina vineyards. The Massa vineyards are a true treasure of the region, with great potential.
