This restaurant was originally a shack on the river, tended by a fisherman. Purchased and subsequently renovated, it is now an elegant restaurant, run for over thirty years by the current owners, the Papavero family. The extensive menu includes risottos, farmyard animals, snails, frogs, freshwater fish, and all those dishes created with the raw materials this generous land on the banks of the Po has to offer. The restaurant's wine list includes over 500 national and international labels, with a strong focus on local produce, Piedmontese wines, particularly from the Oltrepò and Colli Tortonesi areas.
