Cantina Sociale Cooperativa di Lu

Nestled in the splendid setting of the Monferrato hills, the Cantina Sociale Cooperativa di Lu is one of the first cooperatives founded in the province of Alessandria and indeed in Piedmont, having been around for over 100 years. Among the wines produced: Barbera del Monferrato, Monferrato Bianco, Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese, Nebbiolo, Bionc Dus—the sweet, low-alcohol "grape juice," Monferrato Freisa, and Vino Rosé 185.
