Grappa Stravecchia - Ancient Piedmontese Method The Grappa Barile brand was born in 1976 from the idea and dream nurtured since 1958 in the Sestri Ponente shipyards (during the construction of the ocean liner "Leonardo Da Vinci") of the two founding partners—Gino Barile and his childhood friend Antonio Bormida—of making the finest grappa in existence.
