The Valleandona Valle Botto and Val Grande Special Nature Reserve is perhaps the best known, even internationally, for its paleontological significance, with a wealth of marine fossils emerging from the sandy layers of its steep, wooded hills. Visitors can enjoy marked trails, mountain bike and horseback riding trails, and picnic areas.
