Parco di Rocchetta Tanaro

The protected area extends for just 120 hectares entirely within the Municipality of Rocchetta Tanaro, on a hilly plateau sloping down to the Tanaro River. An ideal place for a peaceful walk in the woods, suitable for everyone, the reserve is known as "the Marchese's Woods" because it was once owned by the Marquises of Incisa della Rocchetta. Visitors have access to marked trails, a bike path, a horseback riding trail, a path for the visually impaired, an area equipped for the physically disabled, and a picnic area.
