Museo delle macchine agricole Orsi

Permanent exhibition of tractors from the historic Tortona factory, named in memory of "Roberto Giuseppe Orsi Carbone." An example of industrial archaeology transformed into a public space, the museum is located in some rooms of the former "Orsi" tractor factory. The museum, covering a total of 1,800 square meters, includes a reception area located on the upper level of the building complex, a documentation center accessible from the lower level, a permanent exhibition located in the industrial warehouse that once housed the Orsi company's turning shop, and a space for temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibition consists of twenty-two exhibits provided by the Orsi and Berri Collections, including tractors, locomobiles, fodder balers, threshers, and combine harvesters, documenting the entire production of the Orsi company from its origins in the early 1900s to the late 1950s. OPENING HOURS Visits are available by reservation and during events organized by the Municipality of Tortona.
