Marengo Museum - attualmente non visitabile

On 14 June 1800, Napoleon Bonaparte wins one of his most important battles in Marengo, remembered also at the Arc De Triomphe of Paris. The Museum is at the centre of the battlefield, close to the village of Marengo, in a Villa built in 1847 as a monument to the Emperor. The mural paintings on the ceilings represent important moments and places of Napoleon's life. The story of the battle is experienced through videos, maps, graphic works, display cases with weapons and objects, mannequins in vintage uniforms and films. OPENING TIMES Saturday and Sunday, from 3 pm to 7 pm. Full ticket: € 5.00 Reduced ticket: € 3.00 – from 12 to 18 years of age and over 65s, university students in possession of a university card, groups of a minimum of 12 people. Free admission: journalists registered in the Order of Journalists upon presentation of membership card, for visitors under 12 years of age, holders of subscriptions to Musei To Piemonte and holders of the Torino+ Piemonte card, disabled people and carers, For more information consult the museum website. Accessibility: Entrance with ramp and lift for disabled visitors and bathroom for people with reduced mobility.
