5 Sunflowers The PODERI ZUNINO farm is located in the upper Monferrato region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014, just a few kilometers from Acqui Terme, a famous Roman town that still boasts a large number of spas today, as in ancient times, and other important cities such as Genoa, Turin, Milan, Alba, Asti, and Alessandria. The charm of these areas, combined with their culinary tradition, inspires a premium vacation experience, combining sports activities (trekking, cycling, walks in the surrounding vineyards, etc.) or complete relaxation among the hills and vineyards of Monferrato (visits to wineries, traditional festivals, thermal baths, cooking classes, photography, etc.). Cultural attractions are also numerous, as the area is rich in historic architecture, villages, castles, and towers from various eras. The location is just a few kilometers from Acqui Terme and about an hour and a half's drive from Genoa, Turin, and Milan. Here, among the rolling wooded hills, ravines, vineyards, and hazelnut groves, the Poderi Zunino farm is nestled amidst a hectare of vineyard. The property boasts a garden featuring small squares paved with split Luserna stone, alternating with lawns, flowerbeds, rose gardens, aromatic herbs, fruit trees, and terraced gardens, allowing all guests to admire the relaxing panorama of the Monferrato region. Inside, the ambiance is rustic, elegant, understated, and bright, where Langhe stone reigns supreme, and the iron and wood furnishings are in keeping with Piedmontese tradition. After further modernization/renovation work on the old farmhouse, the agriturismo has opened with two double rooms, capable of accommodating four guests. Always following the stylistic guidelines of the location, it combines rustic and modern, offering guests two rooms: one "modern" and the other "Napoleonic." Breakfast, included in the overnight stay, is served in the gardens during the summer and in a dedicated adjacent room during the winter. Upon request, lunch/dinner can also be organized with local products and those from our farm.
