Atelier Sarina

The Atelier, open to the public since 10 March 2018, gathers a selection of puppets and stage materials of the Sarina collection (belonging to Fondazione CRTortona) in its two exhibition rooms of Palazzo Guidobono. The Atelier gathers a selection of theatrical artefacts from the Sarina collection held in the premises of Fondazione CRTortona. The Atelier occupies two exhibition rooms made available by the municipality of Tortona. To date, it presents puppets, animals, infernal spirits, sets and posters painted by Peppino and Andreino Sarina. The first room is dedicated to the masks of the “commedia dell’arte”, to the main masks of the theatre of Sarina, Pampalughino and Tascone and to the puppets who starred in the works of the Royals, Paladins of France, of Federico Barbarossa, Lando Fortebraccio and Umberto Biancamano. The exhibition is accompanied by sets and posters. In the second room, the "infernal spirits". The Atelier is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 pm to 7 pm and every other day by appointment. EASTER 2026: CLOSED ON SUNDAY 5 APRIL, SPECIAL OPENING ON MONDAY 6 APRIL FROM 3:30 P.M.- 7 P.M.
