Description Immersed in the gently rolling hills of UNESCO Monferrato a weekend in search of his majesty the truffle.
Accompanied by our expert truffle hunters and their trusted "tabui" (truffle dog) among the forests and hazelnut groves you will enjoy a unique sensory experience which will be completed by a visit to a local winery, to the quarries of pietra da cantoni (a type of sandstone/sedimentary rock that can be found throughout the Monferrato area) and wine tasting.
The legislation of the Piedmont Region allows "night-time hunting" of the truffle: in June-July-August (in the moonlight) evening outings are scheduled from 9 p.m. to midnight (in this case the itinerary will be modified)
Truffle hunting is prohibited in May and September to protect the environment and truffle ecosystem.

Program
Day 1
Truffle hunting and extraction, UNESCO intangible cultural heritage since 2021, followed by tasting in winery and visit to quarries in pietra da cantoni (a type of sandstone/sedimentary rock that can be found throughout the Monferrato area).
Dinner in trattoria and overnight stay in a B&B in Monferrato.
Day 2
Free time to get to know Unesco Monferrato and the local infernots
