Day 1

Arrive to Alessandria in the early afternoon. Free time to take a leisurely stroll in the historic centre: we recommend a visit to the ACDB Museum Alessandria Città delle Biciclette, or to the Sale d'Arte with the Arthurian cycle of frescoes of the 14th century or to Palatium Vetus with the permanent exhibition of 20th century artists (Pellizza da Volpedo, Carrà, Morbelli, Morando).
Dinner in osteria of the historic centre with local tasting menu, such as the "rabaton" dumplings of ricotta and local herbs.

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel one day dedicated to Borsalino brand ambassador of Made in Italy in the world, and to the city of Alessandria where the historic company was founded 166 years ago.
The Borsalino hat is synonymous with tradition, craftsmanship and excellence. All production takes place close to the city in the company’s new premises where the gestures of the ‘borsaline’, the female workers of the historic factory, are repeated every day.
The visit to the factory, just outside the city, will make you discover that the production process requires 52 steps by skilled artisans to make one Borsalino hat. All the passages are carried out like 166 years ago, no serial mold just passion and high level of professionalism.
Return to Alessandria and lunch at leisure.
The journey continues to the Museum: here, with modern multimedia supports, you will go back over the history of the Borsalino family and its inextricable link with the city of Alessandria. The route continues through the eight monumental showcases designed by Arnaldo Gardella for the ancient Borsalino Sample Room which mark the passage among as many narrative sections with more than two thousand hats on show. A journey among cinema art and design through the most famous hat in the world.
Dinner at leisure and overnight accommodation in hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in hotel and short transfer to the town of Valenza to take part in Gold Experience.
Gold Experience is the first and only guided tour of a historical jewelry factory, excellence of craftsmanship, headquartered in Valenza since 1957. During the exclusive experience it will be possible to learn how the jewels are created along a cultural and sensory tour.
The four stages of the tour:
- Art in the family’s DNA starting with the grandfather who was a famous artist and painter: jewelry and painting merge to engage the visitor.
- The Museum or History Room which will trace the development of the equipment of master goldsmiths and where the many national and international awards received by the company are on show.
- The Factory, namely the jewelry atelier, where the different phases of jewel creation are explained, from the design idea (drawn by hand and then transposed in 3D), to the waxes, to the choice of materials and gemstones. You will be amazed by the number of passages in the skillful hands of jewelers to reach a jewel to
wear.
- The Boutique, showcase of the exclusive creations to admire and purchase with the advice of a true jewelry guide.
