Cantine Accoglienti is the wine tourism project of the province of Alessandria, coordinated by Alexala with the support of the Piedmont Region and implemented in partnership with the Barbera d'Asti and Monferrato Wines Consortium, the Asti and Moscato d'Asti DOCG Consortium, the Consortium for the Protection of Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC, Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG, Rubino di Cantavenna DOC and Gabiano DOC wines, the Consortium for the Protection of Ovada DOCG, the Consortium for the Protection of Brachetto d'Acqui D.O.C.G., the Consortium for the Protection of Colli Tortonesi Wines, the Regional Wine Shop of Monferrato, the Regional Wine Shop of Acqui Terme and Wine, the Regional Wine Shop of Ovada and Monferrato, the Wine and Flavor Route of Gran Sasso Monferrato and the Tortona Hills Wine and Flavor Route.
The wineries participating in the project share a Hospitality Charter, a ten-point manifesto with guidelines, values, and objectives to guarantee certified hospitality services.
